Delegation from Our University Visited the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the United States

In order to further consolidate the inter-University cooperation between NWAFU and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and promote the teaching management work of the Joint Bachelor’s Degree Program in Plant Protection Between Northwest A&F University and University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a delegation composed of Chen Yuchun, director of the Academic Affairs Department of our university, Hu Xiaoping, Dean of the College of Plant Protection, Qiao Zhe, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, and Jing Xiangfeng, Vice Dean of the College of Plant Protection, visited the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from November 7th to 10th. The delegation had extensive discussions with Michael Boehm, Professor and Vice President of the University, Tiffany Heng-Moss, Professor and Dean of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, Maegan Stevens-Liska, Interim Assistant Vice Chancellor For Global Affairs, Martha Mamo, Professor and Director of the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture, Loren Giesler, Professor and Director of the Department of Plant Pathology, John Ruberson, Professor and Director of the Department of Entomology, David Wedin, Professor and Director of the Center for Grassland Studies, as well as other faculty members. Both sides reviewed the long-term cooperation foundation between the two universities and looked forward to the cooperation prospects. In addition, everyone conducted in-depth discussions on continuously deepening the mechanism of cooperation between the two universities.

During the visit, the delegation visited student classrooms, research laboratories, libraries, student dormitories and other infrastructure.
